LOVE this, just wrote it down. I'm seeing this both as a scarf and as a ghan. Can make the scarf pieces, then crochet or stitch them together.
ReplyDeleteHow wide does come out if using regular knitted worsted weight yarn and say 7-8 size needles?
What size needle did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks,

Sandy and Judith, I'm so glad you like the pattern! Since this was the first pattern I'd done I didn't do a gauge swatch or try any other needle sizes for reference. Lesson learned :) My scarf came out to about 8 inches wide using size 15 needles and James C. Brett Marble Chunky yarn. It's labeled chunky but it didn't feel any thicker than a regular worsted weight. I'm starting another scarf using this pattern, this time using size 9's. I'll keep you posted on how wide that one is. Also, the pattern is on Ravelry (I'm crochetgoodies) and a few other people have it in their project list as well. Maybe someone there would be able to help?
